Founded in 2019, L and L Ministries, Inc. is a Texas non-profit corporation classified by the IRS as tax exempt under 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code (EIN 84-3282990). We are a living entity headed by Christ and focused on working along side church leaders to serve His Church and to strategically evangelize. We believe in the body of Christ and the high value of the five-fold ministries of service within the local church. The board of directors is comprised of Christ-following believers whose goal is to advance the Kingdom of God and accomplish the purpose of L and L Ministries.
We know that there is One God in the Father, the Son Jesus, and the Holy Spirit, and by Him were all things created (Deuteronomy 6:4; John 12:45; 2 Corinthians 3:17; Acts 1:4-5; Acts 2:4 & 16-18; John 14:6-11; Isaiah 9:6; John 17:11; Genesis 1:1-31; Genesis 2:1-3 & 18-25; Colossians 1:13-19; Hebrews 1:1-3; Ephesians 3:9).
We know that Father God sent His Son Jesus to buy back mankind from our own choices. Jesus’ mother, Mary, was a virgin when He was born. Jesus never sinned. Jesus performed many documented miracles. Jesus was crucified for our sins. Jesus was buried and rose from the dead three days later. Afterwards, Jesus showed Himself to many eyewitnesses (Matthew 27:51-53 and 1 Corinthians 15:6) and by infallible proofs (Acts 1:3). By the name of Jesus, and His name only, people can choose to be saved from death and sin (Acts 4:12; John 3:16; Hebrews 7:25; 1 Peter 3:18; John 3:17-19). We also know that believers who are following Christ remember His work and show His death through the receiving of Communion(1 Corinthians 11:20-34). Currently, Jesus sits at the right hand of the Father and will return personally to receive His Church (self-denying Christ followers, not organizations or denominations) unto Himself and to govern. (We highly encourage anyone who is interested to begin by reading the Gospel of John.)
We know Jesus is King, and we preach Christ crucified (Zechariah 9:9; Luke 23:3; John 19:19-22; Revelation 17:14; Revelation 19:16; and 1 Corinthians 1:23). Jesus is the answer, not religion or the practice of any one religion, including many current forms of so called “Christianity” (John 14:6 and John 5:38-39).
We know the Bible is God’s Word, is a living cutting set of documents, is reliable, and is truth that points to Jesus the Truth (2 Timothy 3:15-17; Hebrews 4:12; 1 Peter 2:6; 2 Peter 2:20-21; 2 Peter 3:16; 1 John 1:1-4; John 1-5; John 14:6; John 6:63).
We know by examining ourselves that people are sinful by inherited human nature and will eternally perish without the saving knowledge and life of Jesus the Christ as revealed in His Gospel. We also know that God wishes that no one should perish in this way, but that all would come to this saving grace through the preaching of the Gospel, confession (admitting), and repentance (a changing of the mind). See Romans 10:14-15. This saving knowledge and a life laid down to follow Christ, then knowing Christ by the Holy Spirit, and then obedience and denying self, is the difference between an eternity with God and what He is preparing for Christ followers, or an eternity separated from Him and with what He has prepared for Satan, the followers of self and deniers of Christ, and those who He does not know (Matthew 25:31-46; Luke 13:23-30; Matthew 7:21-23).
We know the body of Christ in expression on earth right now is the Church, not a church (1 Corinthians 12:27; Ephesians 4:4, 15-16; Acts 11:26). “Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.” 1 John 4:17 AKJV.
We know that offices of ministry exist toward the complete furnishing of the saints (modern day believers who follow Christ and deny themselves) into the work of the ministry into the edifying of the body of Christ (Ephesians 4:11-13; 1 Corinthians 12:27-28; 1 Timothy 3:1 & 8; 1 Timothy 5:17; Titus 1:5 & 7).
We know that prayer (Matthew 6:9-13; James 5:16; 1 Thessalonians 5:17) and fasting (Matthew 6:16-18; Luke 5:34-35; 2 Corinthians 6:4-5) and individual Bible study(Acts 17:11; 2 Timothy 2:15; 1 John 2:25-27) are for each believer to live out.
We know that every Christian is called to deny themselves, pick up their cross (this is an idiosyncratic concept), and follow Jesus through the divine enablement of grace in putting off the old person and putting on the new. (Matthew 16:24-25; Ephesians 2:8-10; Colossians 3:1-11).
We know that water baptism (Galatians 3:26-28), the gift and gifts of the Holy Spirit (John 14:26; John 16:13; 1 Corinthians 12:1-11; 1 Corinthians 14:1-3), and importantly the fruit of the Holy Spirit (Galatians 5:22-23) are to be lived out by every believer.
"Thou therefore, my son, be strong in the grace that is in Christ Jesus. And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. Thou therefore endure hardness, as a good soldier of Jesus Christ." 2 Timothy 2:1-3 AKJV.
"Doth he thank that servant because he did the things that were commanded him? I trow not. So likewise ye, when ye shall have done all those things which are commanded you, say, We are unprofitable servants: we have done that which was our duty to do." Luke 17:9-10 AKJV. See our Workers page.
"No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier." 2 Timothy 2:4 AKJV.
