(Our tribe is both the older and the younger, men and women.) "For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ. There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus. (We know that the older should not think little of the younger who are doing Kingdom work.) “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12 AKJV. (We also know that the younger should honor Biblical boundaries as they engage the older.) “Rebuke not an elder, but intreat him as a father; and the younger men as brethren; the elder women as mothers; the younger as sisters, with all purity.” 1 Timothy 5:1-2 AKJV. (As we pursue Christ together, the older and the younger should wear the servant’s apron of humility and function as co-subordinates.) “Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.” 1 Peter 5:5 AKJV.
